Winter 2009Our Preferred Contractors
Over the years we’ve worked alongside some very special folks. We’ve gotten to know them and the quality of their work. These are the people we call when we have a problem in our own home. Do you need a contractor to help with an electrical or plumbing issue? Ask for a referral to highly qualified people. Got a remodeling project in the “dream” stage? We know just the guys for you. Looking to save energy by adding insulation? We will do a free attic insulation inspection with any service. And our contractor is top notch! Why do we refer to other contractors? Referrals are all about trust. When we are seeking any service we are looking for someone we can trust- someone who has proven their worth and comes highly recommended. 90% of consumers worldwide say they are most likely to trust the recommendation of people they know. We appreciate referrals from our customers and colleagues and we just thought you might too. What’s in it for us? Just knowing our customers are in good hands.
Click here for a list of our preferred contractors.I’ve been reading again. And some of you know that means funny stories, weird facts and trivia that can only be used in obscure games or family get-togethers.
Like the little girl watching her parents get dressed for a formal party. When she saw her Dad in his tuxedo she warned, “Daddy you shouldn’t wear that!” “Why not”, asked her father. “You know it always gives you a headache the next morning" .…
I love some of these answers on a high school science test.
The largest mammals are found in the sea because there is no place else to put them. Strange but probably true.
Parallel lines never meet unless you bend one or both of them. Hmmm, are they still straight if you do that?
Cadavers are dead bodies that have donated themselves to science. Wonder if that was before they died?
How about a few money saving, greener energy tips?
Switch to ultra low-flow shower heads and save about 12,000 gallons of water a year on average.
Seal gaps around windows and doors with caulk or weather stripping to trim home energy costs by up to 10%
Replace incandescent light bulbs with CFL or LED bulbs to save about 1,000 kilowatt hours of electricity.
Okay, everybody already knows that when Spring arrives it’s time to start thinking air conditioner tune ups and storms. So what are you going to do about it? May we suggest an automatic stand-by generator to avoid the inconvenience and expense of a power outage? It may be more cost effective than you imagine. Not to mention the peace of mind of knowing even if you’re away when a storm hits, your home is protected.
For that Spring A/C tune up, call 630 879-1544 to schedule your appointment.
Have a great Spring. Enjoy this untimely warm weather by getting an early start on yard clean up. The flowers and shrubs are already blooming!
